My Special Christmas!

This year we didnt have alot of things under our tree like we usually do and i'm kinda glad we did. Well my goal on Christmas Eve was to do whatever I could to make the day go faster!!! Like my puzzle and watch tv all day haha. I also had to go give the Neighbors their gifts. Mom wouldnt let us open our pajamas until after she finished watching 'The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardorbe' which didnt get over till 10!!! This year we didnt sing Christmas songs.. I didnt mind but it still would have been nice. Instead we had a special prayer that I enjoyed. Mom got Leperd pj. Dads pjs came with a book, Meredeth got a CD, and when I opend mine up there was a charlie Brown card that said "ready to do the happy dance?.." then it played the theme song and said " how about now?" inside was an Airplane ticket to Mesa Arizona Christmas day!!!! I was Excited!!

Christmas morning I woke up at 6:15 and just got my bed made and then waited for Meredeth to do her hair. Finally we got to open gifts. Meredeth and I both got some Flatts shoes, Make up, nail polish, and Movies!

My 1st gift had a Calendar w/ Jesus pics on it, A C.D. "Be thou an Example", and a necklace from mom.

2nd gift had Two books, Mormon myth-Ellaneous, and Day of Remembrance.

3rd gift was a camera of my own.. and a nice one too!!!

The last gift I saved on purpose but couldnt wait to open it!!! This gift was from Elder Paetznick. There was some hot chocolate for the family. For me I got a picture of the burning bush, A book by Gordon B. Hinkley titled "Stand a Little Taller", and finally the BEST gift for last, A CTR ring, its beautiful and the name is "Infinity" I wear it all the time. it's really special to me.

Well after we opend gifts I quickly got ready to go to the airport w/mom and dad. I went in my pjs lol but dad didnt. We got through secerity quiet fast and waited a while to actually get on the plane and leave. and that begins awhole other story.

Christmas Dance

For the Christmas Dance I asked Matt Barry! He is such a gentelman and he is kinda popular, plus really tall! I was lucky enough to catch him before another girl could snatch him away.

Josie and I drove up to his house and drew a chalk outline of my "Dead" body, then we drew iceskates on my feet. then we placed a paper there that had a whole bunch of ways to ask him crossed off. then just ended up saying "You're killing me, You're really killing me. Christmas? -Tori. well he wasnt home but thats ok he got it any way. He answered by having Spencer Sorensons sister com bring me a blue sponge in my history class. it said "wash away your doubts -matt" on the other side it said "YES"

The day of the dance I drove Josie and Carmen to school. then we went to the assembly which was very good. Afterward we had our group meet in the courtyard... but we had to go pick up Carter, stop at Sister Juarez work, get pizza, drop off Carmen at home while Josie got sme stuff, and then I dropped off the pizza at my house. Matt just had to bring it in with me... Mom was not ready and surprised when we walked in. lol.

Off to the park we went and started a snow man contest! Matt and I ran over down by the horses and quickly realized the snow wasnt good for making snowmen, so instead we made an outline of Jack the pumpkin king. Josie and her date John made a small snowman, Emily and her date Carter were in the process of making a square snowman. Well Matt and I started a snowball fight and any time I got Josie I swear she would start tackling me. Josie and Emily had a contestto see who could keep their face in the snow the longest... Josie won. then we started heading for the car when I hit Josie with a snowball and she tackled me hard to the ground I looked up and saw the guys running towards the car...

they stole it and took off. Us girls had an idea and started running home through the path. we beat them home. But Matt did Doughnuts with the car and broke the power stearing and power break. I couldnt even drive it!!!

At my house we Ate pizza!!!! then played Curses it was so much fun!!!! we played it for a long time. then tried a lil Bluffers Beware. After games we made Scarffs all together. Afterward I drove them all home in a blizzard luckily we were in the Montero. but it was still scary.

Picking everyone up was easy and we went to the orem mall to see Emily's brothers play it was AWESOME!!! Afterward we went to the ice rink to iceskate I really enjoyed it even though Matt an I had troubles staying together the whole time haha. when we finally left it was Maceys and Ice cream we craved. though we ended up eating drum sticks.

When I drove Carter home we all went up into the appartment and took our own pictures. I had a blast and my date was the BEST EVER!!! I'd very much enjoy going out with him again.

Thanksgiving in Thermopolis

The day before Thanksgiving we drove up to Thermopolis and on the way we stoped at Kelsi's to visit. Chase is so funny!! he does the cutest things. Our next stop was in Little America where we ate lunch. On the way we saw the windmills, and some Semi's carrying the windmill Propellers it was cool. When we arrived in Thermopolis we quickly got our stuf settled and then we went ovet to Aunt T's house. I was so Excited to see Hanes again for the second time. First we all sat around just talking and what not. Then finally Hanes came home and we went out to eat. When we returned we just chilled again, not really doing much but we finally decided to go back to the hotel so I said "wait I gotta say goodbye to Hanes first." I went over to the stairs and instead of going down I just yelled " GOOOOOBYE HANES!!!" and EVERYONE laughed. On Thanksgiving we went back and Us cousins sat downstairs and watched Wall-E and The Goonies. When it was dinner time I wasn't feeling so good and didn't eat much.. or hardly any and Grandpa was late. finally after dinner we went swimming at "Hellies Tee Pee Spa" It was so much fun I got to go swimming in a hot spring!!!!! Where ever we went Hanes didn't seem to want to go, and I called him a loser for not wanting to come and then he ended up coming it was funny. when we went back to the house we ended up playing a couple card games which were fun too. Then we went back to our motel and to bed. On our way home Meredeth and I took A LOT of pictures of road signs that were funny or weidly spelled, it sure made the time go by fast! I had a bag of Cheetos and the air pressure popped it open it was AWESOME!
