Drop of Faith

This is a poem I wrote pretty fast, it's supposed to be on my faith in Jesus Christ. keep in mind this is about a rain drop, becoming more then what it appears.

Out of many I am just one.
Discouraged, amoungst the storm
deep inside there is something more
I hold on knowing he cares for me.
With twist's and turns, not knowing my course
A rock or more blocked the way.
growing tiresome of the same routine
with strength I continue on
giving to others to grow in life
I now trust he has a plan for me.
though happyness still strives
these confined spaces break open
and Greater I stand.

Seminary

In seminary the past two weeks, we have had a BYU student teacher, she is peppy and fun. Well today at the end of class she had us draw a picture of someone we know who is Christ like, One person popped into my head and then as I thought about other options they just didnt feel right. So I drew a picture of my brother Maeser, but of course i just had to add things about him like; no hair (he does that alot), shoes (for his love of them), Pencil (his atistic skills), Camera (good photographer), and Lakers jursey (He's going to own the Lakers).
Off to the side I wrote down just a few reasons why he is christ like and they are; Caring, understanding, loving, unselfish (thinks of others), smart, strong, and I think I wrote a few others down. (I'll put a picture up when I get it.) In the long run I just wanted to say thank you Maeser for marrying my sister and being my brother and especially the amazing example you are to me. I look up to you greatly.

Recording Studio

Lindsay has entered the 'Beauty is..' contest thing at school, where you send in something about beauty, song, poem, art etc. and had the opportunity to go get a song recorded, and I had the opportunity to tag along. Our friend Jake hooked her up with the recording guy. It was very neat to see how it is done, give advice, support, and hear her demo. Lindsay has such a beautiful voice, and just needs the confidence, but she is doing GREAT! I hope that someday she can get the songs she wrote on piano to a cd, because I love her music and I know she can go big with it. Lindsay is AMAZING. here are some photos... Oh and I swear i've been to this dudes place before but I don't remember when or who with, but i can only think of being there with Maeser and savanna but I could be wrong so if dave looks familiar to you let me know.

Halloween

HALLOWEEN! So this year I decided to go as Sleeping Beauty, I8 was gonna go in my Pj's and a crown but ended up in a dress, slippers, robe. I tried taking pics of people at school but there wasn't that many cool costumes this year as there was last year. My best friend Lindsay went as My fairy god mother, and she looked WAY better then me, with such a simple costume. At lunch they school did this really cool thing, where some students dressed as zombies in white and had blood all over themselves, and they walked all differnt and funny, getting in peoples faces and if you walked down the hall you could see random traces of blood, and no matter where you were you could hear someone screaming and then see them run by. IT WAS AWESOME.

On Halloween day I went on a date with Kevin Garcia, I had a GREAT time. He picked me up at 4 and we headed off to see the movie Paranormal Activity, totally expecting to be scared to death after watching but instead it was kinda a dumb movie sorta freaky but weird, then he took me to Applebees cause i've never been there, it was delicious. Afterward it was a random spur of the moment and went to crispie creme and got me a doughnut :p lol then off to his house we went, and he pulled out the ping pong table and I learned how to play, almost beat him too! once that was over we played guitar hero which i'm okay at, since i've never played rock band he let me try that and let me tellya it was fun but i dont think i'm good at the medium level and barely the easy level, Oh and he let me play on his real drum set. it was an awesome date.
