Graduation

PRE GRADUATION-- In the short day's before graduation, I took Bailee Ice Skating and we had fun. I had a competition that everyone was able to go to and see, which was really nice. Right after the competition we all (savanna, bailee, mylee, colin, meredeth, dad and I) went to Evanston for paxtons birthday, we had a BBQ. Savanna left early to go pick Maeser up but when we got home before her and found Maeser sitting on the couch that was a cool surprise. I gave a talk on Faith at chursh :) .

Went to trafalga and came home to a big surprise! My sister Linda was in the kitchen!!!! she made it to my graduation (she said she couldnt come). She got me a Wii game called "Just Dance" which I played with my cousins. Mom Arrived with Grandpa and Hanes. Ben Jenkins came over that night too and we all watched a movie together. Linda took Hanes and I to the ice rink to skate together that was fun.

GRADUATION DAY

So in the morning I picked up my friends Betsy H. and Lindsay E. On our arrival to UVU we were all seated and told what was to happen, then we found out where we were supposed to end up sitting.

After the "practice" We all went to my house where Carrie K. and Tahani W. met up with us. All the Best friends were there except for Adrianna U. who went to School in CA. So we all got into our robes and got our photos taken out side by Savanna and Linda. It was really nice to have us friends all together for a photo and I just realllllly enjoyed graduation day with them, it was a big hit in the head that this was the end....sorta.

When my friends were gone, I changed into a green shirt and went to an orchered to take photos of my sisters and I all together. Now that was fun too. We tired to do a jumping picture, Kelsi would make funny faces and we tried to get linda to smile with her teeth, we also did a photo of us touching each others booties which was funny cause Linda started to grab peoples behinds.

Dressed and ready to go, I recieved Two Lie's, one from Linda, one from Savanna, they were both so beautiful and throughout the night I kept getting compliments on them. :)

On Arrival the whole class stood on the stairs for a photo, Down front was where I got to stand. Several people were passing out Legos for us to hand to the Principle, Mine was bigger than most, and had overals on it.

Going through the line of teachers was interesting, I was compliments on my lie, shook hands and Mr. Robinson hugged me, that's when I realized I will no longer be in his class anymore.

Waving to the crowd I finally found the fam up at the top in the middle section.

As I walked my picture was up, and when I handed the principle the lego he said "Congradulations and thank you for the gift". Savanna came down took my photo. Behind me in the Line my BFF since Pre school Tyler Hodges did a cartwheel. The principle said we was graduated and so we switched the tassels. I got a photo with Tyler after ward.

Found my family and got some more photos especially with Grandpa Beardsley. He made a promise, stuck to it and made it to all his grandchildrens graduations and I"m REALLY glad he was there for it because it meant a BIG HECK ALOT to me. The Lei's helped him to see me to so I was glad.

Graduation was one of the most amazing memorable moments of my life and I am eternally greatful to have shared it with my family, friends, and Grandpa.

Reach for the Peaks

In the morning I had to quickly get ready for work and the comptetion. When I arrived at the rink I practiced/ warmed up for the competition 9-10am . It wasn't very good caus eI for some reason just wasnt landing anything and my leg hurt pretty bad. So I struggled through work 10-12 pm which was testing and by the end of that my leg only hurt a little bit. I changed into my micheal Buble costume and went to the locker room where I stayed. For this first routine I was competitng against my friends Lindsay Swan, Sara, and Elsa. The nerves were starting to kick in a bit but I wasn't really scared I just wanted to have fun. While I waited I decided to stretch again which helped alot and then I went through my routines off ice. Allison came in to tell us how she wanted us to warm up in the 3 min we had, and we just chatted a bit. As I was in the bathroom mom came with a unitard that I could use so I had to quickly put it on and my skates cause it was time to warm up.

Durring warm up I did almost 2 laps, then straight to my jumps (sucsess, they were going really good), Next my spins, and last I went through my routine which was great too.
I was the third to perform... Off I went adn everything was just going great, my lutz was landed a little funny but the rest was great other than being a few split seconds ahead of the music. Once as it was completed I was shocked, that was the BEST performance I have done to that routine and it felt SO AMAZING!! my coach and the girls were saying that I totally got first place, that was a little irritating cause they were putting themselves down. To my coah and especially me, that routine deserved first place. Hopefully I perform just as well in the next competition.

After that I ran to the dressing room and changed into myartistic Romance Anonimo costume and had a warm up on the ice with several other girls doing different routines. The very last performance for the whole day was all mine. It was the first time I performed this routine and it went so smooth it was beautiful!

Once finished I ran upstairs to see the score, for the first routine 1st was given to Elsa, 2nd to Sara, 3rd to Me, and 4th to Lindsay. For my second routine I got 1st place for competing against myself haha. It was a wonderful day.

After the competitions we ran up to the Morrows house to have a BBQ for Paxtons bday. we mostly just sat and chatted but it was a fun day.

PICTURES COMMING SOON.

Pizza Factory

This year I had the chance to be the ASL Club President and Every year Provo High Schools ASL Club goes to the Pizza Factory. If we get 30 people to go then it only costs 5 dollars other wise it will be 7. Right after work I arrived about 30 min late and we already had around 50ish people there. Some where from our school, plus their friends as well, also we invited the students from years before to come, I invited my deaf friend Gideon Nelson and his sister Bridgette who both invited some of their friends. then the VP uncle who is deaf also came with friends.
The pizza kept pouring in yet it still wasnt enough so that was pretty funny. People were jsut eating and chatting the whole time or trying to find a place to sit. It was so nice to have such a great outcome to this party.

Near the end, we had Nathalie's Uncle share a few jokes with us as well as his friends. They were so awesome and fun to be around.

There was also a pushup contest, all the guys vs. Bridgette. .... Bridgette won. :)

We created a circle and people began to dance.

A group photo.... In the end we had over 75 people show up.

We said goodbye to our teacher who is going to WA D.C. to interpret.

Pictures to come...

Up comming events.

The annual Reach For The Peaks competition has arrived. Woot!!!! Mom helped me pay for this competition and my outfit but I'll be paying for the one next month which by the way is more expensive. This time around there are Two routines that I will be performing the Micheal Buble "Feeling Good" and the knew one is called "Romance Anonimo". This knew one is much slower then "Feeling Good" and it's a romantic song with no words. The competition is in two weeks and I still have yet to learn the rest of my routine including perfecting it the best I can, not to leave out the other number which needs some refreshing. Nerves have begun to set in little by little, and will only grow when the next competition arrives. I'm very excited to do these two routines and I'd like to dedicate one of them to somebody though it dosent exactly fit so I think I'll try creating my own routine some day and dedicate some.

Work

So I thought I'd say a little something about my job. Well I work at the Peaks Ice Arena as an Ice Skating Instructor and I love it. At first I was just an assistant and learning the ropes, then I taught and assisted the SnowPlow Sams, then I had one basic one class. Overall I have taught mostly Snow Plow Sams (kids ages 2-5), Basic one, Basic Two, Basic three, and Adults one, two, three, and four. My Job description includes, teaching, testing, firstaid, remembering names and parents, sometimes I feel like i'm babysitting, go to meetings sometimes to learn differnt ways to teach. Some random times I have helped with skate rental when i've noticed they were busy, and i've stayed late to help clean up, i've done Ice monitoring once, also was part of the Partyplanning comitee.

Near Christmas I was given the opportunity to help out with a christmas show, My job was to tape eight glowsticks to about thirty plus bodies in a very short time. As they were getting on the ice one of the girls came up to me and asked where her's was, I was able to keep my cool and get her taped up in the closest colored glowsticks we had available and then we realized she didnt' have a head band so I ran all the way to the other side and back in time for her to finish up getting ready and onto the ice in the nick of time. It was nice to be depended apon and get things done the right way.

I love my job.
